Our local Air Ambulance service-DRLAA-was launched on 1st April 2008 and covers an area of 2100 square miles.
Like all other air amblulances in England and Wales it is supported entirely through voluntary donations.
This year it will cost in excess of £1.6 million to operate the DLRAA.
